INSURANCE

The midwife's services may be covered by your insurance company such as Providence, United, Aetna, etc.

Some insurance policies require endorsements to be in place before pregnancy for coverage of maternity care. To find out if you are covered, check with your insurance company.

Due to varying insurance company policies and their deductibles, applicable payment arrangements are made and billing is provided for insurance reimbursement to you.

MEDICAID
Idaho Medicaid includes maternity and newborn care by licensed midwives, and birth at either an out-of-hospital birth center or homebirth. Birth center facility fee or travel expenses (or other services you might choose) may not be covered by Medicaid and may incur additional costs.
