AFFORDABILITY
It is well known that birthing at home usually saves a lot of money ~ especially compared to costs of birth in an institution.
One of our goals with Eden Birth & Wellness is to offer midwifery care and natural homebirth as a safe option for all healthy, low-risk women, within the financial needs of Idaho families.
Prenatal, birth and postnatal services for mother & baby are included. Childbirth Preparation classes are also included for our clients.

Our fee for midwifery services is currently $2700.
Affordable monthly payment plans may be arranged.
You will
receive a reduction* of 15% if paid in full by
36 weeks of pregnancy
- for a fee of $2295.
** 15% is discounted from birth & postnatal portion of care.
Eden Birth & Wellness offers an additional reduction in
fee (as thanks) for military families.
Your disposable birth kit is additional, as is an optional birth pool. Laboratory fees, ultrasound, medications or other services also have additional costs**.
**Our fees do not include: services provided by other practitioners,
laboratories, clinics or hospitals,
nor EMS service fees in the rare case of a transport. Any
additional costs must be paid separately by the client/patient and/or
their insurance carrier.
INSURANCE
The midwife's services may be covered by your insurance company.
Some insurance policies require endorsements to be in place before pregnancy for coverage of out
of hospital birth and midwives. To find out if you are covered, check with your insurance company. (It may be helpful for you to ask different departments within the company and to have a written response for clarification.)
Eden Birth & Wellness accepts New Mexico Medicaid for travelers.
