Birth Stories Gathering
The Birth Stories Gathering provides a circle of nurturing. Here women come together in a safe, confidential environment.
Talking about birth experiences,
and sharing insights is an opportunity for encouragement, validation, understanding and even healing. Whether it be joy, empowerment, disappointment or grief ~ all are welcome and nurtured within the groups.
To listen with compassion and positive intent is one of the guidelines of participation.
The gathering is facilitated by Eden Birth & Wellness midwives.
There is also time for questions and answers.
The setting is casual and comfortable with healthy refreshments. Mothers can bring their nursing babies and toddlers. Grandmothers, daughters, sisters, etc. may attend.
Occasionally, a group is scheduled to include husbands and fathers, siblings, etc.
